The Islamic Center of Cleveland relies heavily on receiving Zakat Al Fitr so we can support the hundreds of families that request our assistance. This year the cost remains the same at $15 per person in your family. The list of needy families is continuing to increase and we need your support. We need a total of $50,000 to support all the families seeking our assistance. *We do not provide cash to the families, we provide a food voucher so they can purchase food items from local Muslim owned businesses, essentially we support needy families and local Muslim owned businesses, a win win!*
This is a mandatory obligation upon us all so why not get a head start. You can pay via the white boxes marked Zakat Al Fitr at the masjid, by check, cash, or by card at any of the masjid payment kiosks. Here’s a quick link where you can make payment as well.
